Jay Craig Band

Went to see this band couple of weeks ago in London.
Great - old style - big band really. Very eclectic set. From quite rocky modern stuff to old waltz medleys and such. Googled the name and found this old review - with and old mate Dean Nixon slap bang in the centre of the pic. No sign of Jay - although a few days early I had been watching Buddy Rich DVD - The Lost West Side Story Tapes and you do catch a glimpse of Jay when the camera occasionally pans away from Mister Huge Ego himself.

Zappa footage

Really nice clip from the 70's. I'm sure I have some of this footage from the BBC show after he died. Seems like the new DVD is a mixture of this and stuff from the Baby Snakes concert. Bit of a rip off if you've got both but it is cheap, so...

Anyway, the Hanks blogspot is no more. Apparently they - we - are going to get a website up and running. Presumably I'm expected to do it.
In the meantime this is my personal spot. I will try to keep you up to date. Not just on the Hanks but also any extra-curricular activities!
